Gardening Club

About

The club has a comprehensive programme of talks, lectures and demonstrations in the new Memorial hall. Regular meetings are held there on the last Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm. There are often plants for sale, a raffle and good advice on gardening matters.

We have outings to nearby gardens, some of which are opened especially for us on days other than our normal meeting days.

Alternate years we hold a Flower and Vegetable Show. We have an active social life with a summer supper and a New Year’s lunch.

Membership is open to anyone in the local area with an interest in gardening. It costs £10 a year and £3 for visitors. Occasionally there is an additionally there is an additional entry fee when visiting gardens.
