Community Library

Fownhope Community Library was opened in 2012 and stores over 5,000 items of books, DVDs and CDs.

Based in the community room of Faulkner House, between Court Orchard and Church Croft, it is open Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm and on the first Saturday of the month from 10am to 12 noon.

All residents of Fownhope and adjoining villages are eligible to join and membership is free.

We offer….

  • A wide range of fiction and non-fiction books for adults and children
  • Local information and OS Explorer maps
  • A place to meet friends and enjoy a nice cup of tea
  • DVDs and CDs available
