The club has a comprehensive programme of talks, lectures and demonstrations in the New Memorial Hall.

 

Regular meetings are held there on the last Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm.

 

There are often plants for sale, a raffle and good advice on gardening matters.

 

We have outings to nearby gardens, some of which are opened especially for us on days other than our normal meeting days.

 

We have an active social life with a summer supper and a New Year’s lunch.

 

Membership is open to anyone in the local area with an interest in gardening.

 

It costs £20 a year which includes free entry to our programme of talks, lectures and demonstrations. Occasionally there is an additional entry fee when visiting gardens.

 

Non-members are very welcome to attend our events too, at a cost of £4 per event.
