Fownhope Fringe
What is it?
Fownhope Fringe was founded by a group of friends in the village who wanted to organise workshops and events which would interest them and, they hoped, would also appeal to others. They started with a creative writing workshop but have since broadened their programme to include music, art, wine tasting, photography and crafts, with more to come. The Fringe always welcomes suggestions for future workshops!
The events take place in the Pavilion on the Recreation Field, mostly on Saturday mornings, and generally run for two to three hours including a coffee break. The booking fee varies according to the costs of putting on the event and places must be booked in advance.
Fownhope Fringe is a not for profit organisation - any profits are used to benefit the local community in some way.
