      - Tucked along the hedgeline of the Recreation Field, opposite the Pavilion, you’ll find me — far enough from the lights to see the stars. Each month brings something new — in the sky, in the air, and in the quiet sounds around me. I’m facing slightly to the east of south, by the way.

Bingo has been running in the village for 40 years, and is the last Friday of the month except December when it is the Friday before Christmas. Everyone is welcome. Doors open at 7pm with eyes down at 7.30pm. There are cash prizes with a raffle consisting of prizes brought along by the people who...
