DESCRIPTION:Fownhope Seasonal Community Folk Choir – Autumn Songs. \nSeasonal community choirs through the year\, with folksong sharing in the spring\, summer\, autumn – and carolling at mid-winter. \nAs usual our Autumn singing will focus on seasonal and local traditional folk songs – as well as rounds and simple warm-up songs from the global folk tradition. \nThe choir is friendly and easy going\, an opportunity to sing for pleasure in a relaxed group atmosphere .. singing for the love of singing – and for enjoyment of folk song and community. \nAll songs are taught by ear\, and no experience is necessary. \nAll voices are welcome\, there is no audition\, and no-one will be asked to sing on their own. No music reading is required. \nSessions are led by experienced folk-singer/musicians Kate Gathercole and Mark Waters. \n£10 per session (or £35 to block book all 5 sessions) – or pay-as-you-can. \nTo book a place email kate@aluladown.uk
