Traffic calming works

Balfour Beatty have now confirmed that the £175,000 traffic calming scheme for Fownhope has been scheduled for February.

From Monday 12th to Sunday 18th February, the road will be closed between 8am and 5pm each day and from Monday 19th to Wednesday 21st February, the road will be closed between 9:30am and 3pm each day, to minimise the impact on school traffic.

Access to businesses and homes will be maintained throughout, although there will be a diversion for through traffic (details to be confirmed).
