Our unique village event, steeped in history, the Heart of Oak Club Walk is happening on Saturday.
We encourage everyone in the village to decorate their houses and gardens with bunting to add to the festive atmosphere in the village for this special day in the village calendar.
If you don’t have your own bunting, Geoff Hardwick has a supply that’s available to borrow. He can be contacted on geoffhardwick1954@gmail.com or 01432 860324.
Then join us on Saturday for the walk through the village, parading behind a decorated oak bough and a brass band, stopping off for refreshments along the way. We finish in the field behind Wye Leisure for the Big Village Picnic and Sports Day.
Everyone is encouraged to decorate a stick with flowers, an age-old tradition, and bring it along with them.
