Hall Garden Work Party

We’re creating a beautiful new garden outside the New Memorial Hall — and we need your help!
This is our big landscaping day.
We’re stripping the grass off with a mechanical turf cutter, putting down weed-suppressing membrane, shoring up the edges with tanalised timber and filling the resulting space with bark mulch. It will be quite a job to do, but this has to precede the planting of all the lovely gifts of plants, trees and shrubs that many of you have donated (and which are currently sitting on my driveway and in flower beds or pots, against the day!)
I do hope that if you’re able-bodied and can do a bit of fetching an carrying you will come along and help. Feel free to come along for just part of the session.
Help us turn this patch into a blooming focal point for the whole village to enjoy. 💪🌸🌳
