Fownhope Fringe – “Ranger Jim” – Nature Near Home
April 11 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
£10
The Flag’s own “Ranger Jim” will be giving us an illustrated talk on April 11th about the birds, plants, insects and animals that we can find in our gardens and on strolls around the parish.
Jim Stevenson has worked for the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, the RSPB and BirdLife International. His last job before retirement was as a Senior Countryside Ranger in Cambridgeshire where he earned the nickname “Ranger Jim” through his regular Wednesday slot at BBC Radio Cambridge. He now lives in How Caple; a place that he refers to as “an outer suburb of Fownhope.”
£10 Please contact Sue Pope to book a place.
All events take place at the Pavilion and advance booking is essential.
