Fownhope Fringe – Pysanky Ukrainian egg decorating workshop
March 7 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
£45
Pysanky Ukrainian Egg Decorating Workshop.
This workshop will be run by artists Helena Orlowski and Nataliya Cummings and will include an introduction to the Ukrainian Pysanky tradition and an explanation of other ways of making the traditional Pysanky egg. This is an opportunity to spend the morning in a calm and friendly atmosphere and make a traditional wax-resist Ukrainian Easter Egg – but this time etched with vinegar. You will be able to complete two eggs using two different techniques during this session. The fee will include the cost of all materials along with traditional Ukrainian Herbal tea and delicious cakes. 10% of profits will be donated to grassroots organisations in Ukraine.
£45 Please contact Sue Pope to book a place.
