✨ A Little Bench-Warming Before the Christmas Tractor Run ✨
Hello there — it’s me, the new Dark Skies Bench. I know you’re really coming out for the Christmas Tractor Run (I’ve heard the excitement…), but if you’ve got a moment before the big parade, I’d love you to drop by.
I’ll be waiting by the Pavilion from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, along with some very kind humans serving mulled wine – alcoholic and non-alcoholic varietes – and mince pies. Consider it a gentle warm-up before you wander over to Coo Corner for your hot chocolate and hot dogs — I hear they’re excellent at keeping fingers and spirits toasty.
Then at around 6:10pm, the tractors will sweep through in all their glowing, jingling glory. I don’t blame you for rushing off — it’s quite the spectacle, even from where I’m sitting.
So come early, say hello, lean back for a minute, and then head off to claim your perfect tractor-spotting position. I’ll be here, cheering them on with you — in my own quiet, wooden way.
