Fownhope Seasonal Community Folk Choir – Autumn Songs.

Seasonal community choirs through the year, with folksong sharing in the spring, summer, autumn – and carolling at mid-winter.

As usual our Autumn singing will focus on seasonal and local traditional folk songs – as well as rounds and simple warm-up songs from the global folk tradition.

The choir is friendly and easy going, an opportunity to sing for pleasure in a relaxed group atmosphere .. singing for the love of singing – and for enjoyment of folk song and community.

All songs are taught by ear, and no experience is necessary.

All voices are welcome, there is no audition, and no-one will be asked to sing on their own. No music reading is required.

Sessions are led by experienced folk-singer/musicians Kate Gathercole and Mark Waters.

£10 per session (or £35 to block book all 5 sessions) – or pay-as-you-can.
