Membership

This group meets approximately every 6 weeks. Interested members of the public are always very welcome.

Current members of the group are  Cllrs Gareth Williams (Chair), Kevin Braybrook, Mike Simmons, and Frank Hemming (Parish Tree Warden).

Roles & responsibilities

• Flooding – Discuss future plans and make recommendations to the council (utilising specialist advice where necessary).
• Review annual tree survey and make recommendations to the council on implications.
• Consider environmental implications of council decisions.
• Develop new initiatives/projects arising from the Community Led Plan (2013).
• Energy and energy efficiency projects.
• Consider environmental issues in the local area.

The group focussed efforts on Dark Skies in 2024, and the theme for 2025 is Habitats.
