About the New Memorial Hall
Fownhope New Memorial Hall is a well equipped Village Hall with catering and other facilities. Ideal for sports, wedding receptions, film shows, social events, family parties etc, it can accommodate 150 people seated and 200 standing. It is regularly used for a variety of sports including badminton, bowls, table tennis and martial arts.

Parking is allowed on the main street, but there is also parking available behind the Hall.

Fownhope New Memorial Hall has been supported generously by The National Lottery Awards for All Scheme. We are very grateful to the National Lottery who provided grants for the development of our unique variable ceiling, refurbishment of our bar and kitchen, the building of an external store facility, the installation of new windows and curtains, and improvements to our car park lighting.
