DESCRIPTION:Classical music lovers are in for a real treat this summer as the Herefordshire Historic Churches Trust presents an unforgettable installment of its Music in Quiet Places series. Taking place at St George’s Church\, Woolhope\, this year’s featured performance offers “An Audience with Carlo Fierens”\, a virtuoso classical guitarist whose talent and accolades span the globe. Carlo Fierens\, described as a “classical guitarist extraordinaire\,” returns to Woolhope for a second consecutive year. With a career that began in early childhood\, Fierens has captured international attention\, winning more than ten First Prizes in various prestigious competitions. In 2013\, his extraordinary abilities were formally recognised when he received the Italian National Prize for the Arts – an honour awarded by the Ministry of Education to the country’s top music student.
