DESCRIPTION:The committee of The Fownhope Flag Association warmly invites you to an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Monday 3 November at 7:30pm in the Tesco Room. \nAt this meeting we’ll be putting forward a proposal that the Association becomes a registered charity. The Flag is run entirely by volunteers and we keep our running costs very low – but of course there are still some expenses. By becoming a charity\, we’d be able to reduce or even remove some of these costs\, freeing up more money to put back into the community. \nThe Flag has always been about more than just a magazine – it’s a community project to connect\, inform and celebrate everything that makes Fownhope special. Becoming a charity is the next step to keep it sustainable for the future. \nWe hope you’ll join us on 3 November\, listen to the proposal\, and have your say. The meeting is open to all residents of Fownhope Parish.
